Six months ago, when Benelogic made 100% of our employees remote, we wanted to minimize how often any employee needed to physically go to our office. This meant changing payments to wires or ACH and retrieving other invoicing information electronically via email or portal downloads.
Not only did this change reduce our reliance on the postal system and the need for someone to physically retrieve mail, it also streamlined operations in a way that had never been prioritized.
When we started reading (and experiencing firsthand) the reduced throughput with the US Postal Service, we reflected on the fortunate timing of our move away from traditional hard copy correspondence.
