Overview

Benelogic is looking for a career driven IT systems expert to tackle high level projects and help maintain/upgrade existing infrastructure.  We are looking for someone who works well with others and enjoys working in an open, honest and fast-paced work environment.

 

Responsibilities

 

High Level Projects (the fun stuff)

  • Assist with architecture redesigns for hybrid cloud environments

  • Introduce new collaboration technologies to the business

  • Automation, Automation, Automation

 

Maintenance Tasks (the stuff we have to do)

  • Create, manage, and maintain virtual machines hosting mission-critical data and services

  • Perform hardware setup, software installation/configuration and the day-to-day administration of Microsoft operating systems and related services (e.g., Hyper-V, IIS, MS-SQL)

  • Maintain the Active Directory structure and all interrelated authentication systems, including the administration of user accounts, shared resources and access permissions

  • Help maintain and administer networking infrastructure (e.g., firewall appliances, core switches, load balancers, and Wi-Fi AP’s)

  • Oversee storage infrastructure (SAN, NAS, and cloud environments)

  • Provide timely and effective on-call support for Benelogic's computing infrastructure including Web Servers, Application Servers, Exchange Servers and User Community (according to the defined SLAs)

  • Assist with infrastructure maintenance tasks as required

 

Technical Skills
  • Business work experience with Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, and their related environments

  • Administration, Maintenance and Configuration of Windows  Failover Clusters

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange, SQL, Hyper-V, ADFS and Linux Operating Systems

  • Familiarity with Dell, EMC, WatchGuard, F5 and Synology hardware

  • Command line and PowerShell expertise

  • Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, SMTP, FTP/SFTP, POP3 and server load balancing knowledge

  • Ability to interpret information security data and processes to identify potential compliance issues

  • Experience with backup and restore methodologies
